How to make the 3D Baroclinic Wave 2D

Hi all,

I am attempting to run a 2D baroclinic wave by using the em_b_wave test case and restricting the x-coordinate to 3 grid cells by setting e_we = 3. This is the method used in the other 2D simulations (such as the em_grav2d_x case). My namelist is given below. It is worth noting that when I change e_we from 3 to 161 that it runs successfully. The rsl.error.0000 is given below the namelist and does not seem to provide anything useful. Does anyone know how to change the em_b_wave to a 2D simulation?
