Real-World Wind Turbine Question

I am trying to run a real-world configuration for the wind turbine drag parameterization scheme. The model does not recognize the wind turbines (output is the same as if there were no wind turbines). How do I get the model to recognize the wind turbines?

I see this in arw user guide:
it only works with 2.5 level MYNN PBL option ( bl_pbl_physics=5)
did you use the correct pbl?

I am in the same boat as you are. I am not sure if the registry file needs to be modified to write out wind turbine/energy related variables. Let me know if you figure it out.

Hello guys,

I just found your post, and I am in the same , well almost problem like you both were. I dont know if my wrf recognizes the turbines but my process does end abruptly and my rsl.error dont show error what so ever. But I dodnt know what is happening. What is that about the registry you said???

I am trying to run the em_real core ( WRFV3.5.1) with the wind turbine parameterization on the third inner grid.

when putting windturbine_spec = "none" the code is ending normally.
So I dont understand why this segmentation fault is produced when calling the module_cu_kfeta on id=1
