SWNORM variable: does it depend of albedo?

Hi,

In this moments i try to work with the variable "SWNORM : normal short wave flux at ground surface (slope-dependent)", but i don't know if the albedo has been considered in the data. Does anyone know it?

Thanks.

PD: i tried to speak english.

Hi,

No, albedo is used afterwards in the surface energy components. By definition albedo isn't considered in global radiation (downward SW). But the slope angle must be included if the surface is not horizontal, so that's why it is written as slope-dependent.
