Help for WPS/WRF-ARW real cases configuration file

Hello,

I worked since few weeks now on simulating data on different site in France for 2014 :
- in Toulouse (43.57N 1.47E)
- Salon De Provence (43.62N 5.12E)
- Aire Sur L'Adour (43.71N -0.25E)

My aim is to compare the simulated rainfall time series and CCDF from the experimental data I have, but it seems that WRF overestimates experimental data.

For now, I work on three domains :
- d01 : 30 km x 30 km, 1 hour
- d02 : 6 km x 6 km, 1 hour
- d03 : 2 km x 2 km, 5 min

For d03, WRF overestimates yearly rainfall amount by around 400 mm for Toulouse, 100 mm for Salon De Provence and 300 mm for Aire Sur L'Adour. Moreover, the correlation coefficients between the different time series are extremely low (around 0.08 for the best case). The results are better for the two first domain, but experimental data are always oversestimated.

I found some articles about the use of WRF and it seems that in the case of a real case (using WPS and WRF-ARW), the results are better than that.

I work since few days on the WPS and WRF configuration files (I reused files from a former simulation), but if you can give me some help or some advices from you experience with WPS/WRF-ARW concerning the simulation of rainfall rate, I would owe you one.
