Discuss advection schemes, timestepping, pressure gradients, coordinates, etc.
I want to run simulations where i only need Surface 10m Wind output... Is there a way to run the WRF model so that it will only output these fields and ignore all other fields and levels?
I basically want to speed up the entire model run, as I have many small domains that need to be run one after the other.
It seems a waste of time and resources to crunch out many levels and fields when i only want these...
Any help would be most appreciated...

Bill, you could use Ferret software.
You can extract your numerical data, point by point and attach to an excel file. Or if you need to analyze it in a graphical way, I mean, check your domain, Ferret can enable you to do it.
I hope it can be useful! Sorry if I could not completely satisfy your doubt.

Where can i find full descriptions of every state and i1 variable in Registry.EM? I'm trying to select some useful variables from them but i find many of the variables don't have description and i don't know that's their meaning.
