Crash in surface energy budget

Any issues with the actual running of the WRF.

Crash in surface energy budget

Postby KevinVW » Thu Jul 27, 2017 9:34 am

I'm running WRF-3.7.1. Lately I've been getting the following error:

Code: Select all
d01 2017-07-20_00:00:00 in RUC LSM
-------------- FATAL CALLED ---------------
FATAL CALLED FROM FILE:  module_sf_ruclsm.b  LINE:    6272
  Crash in surface energy budget
-------------------------------------------

I really don't know where to look to try to fix the problem. Does anyone have a suggestion or know the cause?

Thanks.

Is there a solution to your problem?

Try reducing your timestep.

I had this a couple of years ago and based on the email it was the HRRR. Apparently, it was in a mountainous
area. I don't see a solution, so the general solution of a reduce timestep is best.
