Hello everyone,

when I try to make install under LIBRARIES, it showed like this with the following:
Makefile:281: recipe for target 'install-includeHEADERS' failed
make[2]: *** [install-includeHEADERS] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory '/home/sam/Build_WRF/LIBRARIES/netcdf-4.1.3/include'
Makefile:396: recipe for target 'install-am' failed
make[1]: *** [install-am] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/sam/Build_WRF/LIBRARIES/netcdf-4.1.3/include'
Makefile:551: recipe for target 'install-recursive' failed
make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1

can anyone help me to make it out.

best regards,
Sam

Hi Sam....

Did you do "configure --prefix=some_valid_install_path"?

If you just did "configure", the software will try to install in places that only ROOT can write too.

bash: /home/sam/.bashrc: line 127: syntax error: unexpected end of file

this is what occurs on my installation. really tough for me at this point.

You need to fix you ".bashrc" or you could have lots of problems. I'll guess there is an "if" test that isn't bracked right.
