WRF GUI blowing up

Postby robncyns » Wed Aug 20, 2008 12:32 pm

when trying to set up the wrf wizard or domain wizard i get the following error.

The error was 'BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)'.
(Details: serial 10390 error_code 1 request_code 255 minor_code 0)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

i'm running FC 7, java 1.6.

anyone run into something like this before?

This looks like an OS level error message (not one generated by WRF Domain Wizard.

Are you running WRF Domain Wizard from the Java Web Start web page link or did you download the WRFDomainWizard.zip file to a remote computer and are using X forwarding to run it? What OS are you running WRF Domain Wizard on?

For quicker technical support, you can submit an inquiry or bug report here:
