Forecast

I have small experience with WRF. Currently I am using WRF3.6.1 for the past climate simulation. Now I would like to use WRF for making weather forecast for the next 2 or 3 upcoming days (I mean today is 10 of Feb., thus I would like to make a forecast for Feb. 11, 12 and 13). However, as I understand WRF require boundary conditions for those days (11, 12 and 13). I can get the boundary condition data from NCEP FNL up to today but where can I get boundary condition data for the upcoming days :?: Or is there any means to setup WRF without the need of these upcoming boundary condition datasets :?:
Thank you very much in advance for your great cooperation.

Hi,

please look at the following site:

Follow the links for GFS files you wish to download..

Good luck,

Gorangas thank you very much.
I can use “GFS 0.25 Degree” for initial condition for forecasting the weather for the next 24 hour. What is the problem is “GFS 0.25 Degree” data are available just up to today but the simulation ending date is settled for tomorrow. As a result, the model runs out of boundary conditions. So where can I get data for future days?
Thank you very much in advance for your great cooperation.
