I am trying to work out the cyclone phase space (a la Hart 2003) from a WRF run. I am hoping that somewhere is some script that will do this for me. It seems to me that someone would have done this before, but I can't find any references to scripts to do this anywhere.
I have tried using the GFDL vortex tracker, which I know can output phase information, but am coming across issues with the values picked up for dy (which I think are actually coming through from the UPP). I am running out of debug ideas for this, and thought that someone may have some NCL or python (or any language!) script that can calculate phase space directly from WRF output.
Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
