Garbled output from ARWPost

I am now trying ARWPost 2.0 to get output for GrADS for my WRF 3.0 run.
The program runs successfully though the files and writes one output file and the ctl. I ran GrADS 1.8, opened the ctl file and tried to display the parameters (which I have requested for an array of pressure levels only). The output is very odd.

For example:

output: "Constant field. Value = 0"

output: a plot of dBZ values.

set z 6
d dbz
output: a plot with okay contours but with very low values up to 0.45!

equally, for another time where I specify the same level I got output for, it shows "constant field" again.
Not only dbz but any other parameter: u and v are at different z levels, or "constant field".

By the way, this is for d01, which was set to run microphysics option 5. The metadata apparently take my d02 value.
The GrADS output suggests the control file is not matching the binary output correctly.

What happens if you only compute a small number of fields, like tc,height,XLAT,XLONG.

The meta data comes directly from the wrfout file, so it cannot mix information from d02.

For these parameters I get the following ctl file (for my nest and for splitted files this time, fewer levels, but doesn't matter for the results):
I have also tried omitting the PDEF line and putting the grid size directly in XDEF and YDEF, but does not fix it.

looking a bit further, at lev = 500 'd height' gives exactly the field of longitude.

After some testing it appears to be working for every first parameter in the file, but only for the lowest level (if lcl,tc,height are requested, height is the first one, gives only valid output at 900 hPa in my example, but for all output times).

Thanks to wrfhelp it now works properly. Do this if you encounter the problem:

Could you please remove the recl from the configure.arwp file.
clean (NOT clean -a), and compile again.
This should solve the problem. Let me know if it does not.

We get the same
Cannot contour grid - all undefined values message,
removing the recl option in configure.arwp brought up an error in arwpost Fortran runtime error: Write exceeds length of DIRECT access record

Any ideas? Thank you!

Well, I made this, but I had the same problem of Cioran.. "Fortran runtime error: Write exceeds length of DIRECT access record"

Someone could resolve this?
