WRFPLUS 3.6 compile error with icc

Postby beni » Tue Apr 22, 2014 11:27 am

Hi,

We're trying to compile the new WRFPLUS 3.6 (for WRFDA 4DVAR) with icc, but we've ran into a problem compiling the wps_io_arw module with the following error message:

"module_wps_io_arw.f90(497): error #6633: The type of the actual argument differs from the type of the dummy argument. [RDATA]
datahandle,element,rdata,count,loccode)
--------------------------------------^
module_wps_io_arw.f90(523): error #6633: The type of the actual argument differs from the type of the dummy argument. [DUMMY_FIELD]
datahandle,datestr,varname,dummy_field,fieldtype,comm,iocomm, &
----------------------------------------^"

We had no problems compiling WRF and WPS 3.6 before. We tried to compile with both of the dummy_field definitions in module_wps_io_arw.F (line 1549 and 1551), but it didn't help.

Compile log: http://wrf.idokep.hu/bme/compile.log
Configure.wrf: http://wrf.idokep.hu/bme/configure.wrf

Can someone please help us with this problem?

Thanks,
Beni
