Having problems running the WRF Preprocessing Sysmte (WPS)?

metgrid.exe met_em files have wrong DX and DY

Hello,

I've been having a bit of a problem with metgrid recently. Everything's been running great until recently, where I've been getting the following error from real.exe

Code: Select all
DYNAMICS OPTION: Eulerian Mass Coordinate
   alloc_space_field: domain             1 ,                 432914088  bytes allocated
 metgrid input_wrf.F first_date_input = 2017-04-04_00:00:00
 metgrid input_wrf.F first_date_nml = 2017-04-04_00:00:00
 dx and dy from file         13000.00        13000.00
 dx and dy from namelist     11600.00        11600.00
-------------- FATAL CALLED ---------------
FATAL CALLED FROM FILE:  <stdin>  LINE:     511
DX and DY do not match comparing namelist to the input file
-------------------------------------------

The DX and DY in namelist.input are set to 11600, and I went back to namelist.wps to check to see if I messed something up there. Here is the file:

Code: Select all
&share
 wrf_core = 'ARW',
 max_dom = 2,
 start_date = '2017-04-04_00:00:00','2017-04-04_00:00:00','2017-04-04_00:00:00','2017-04-04_00:00:00',
 end_date   = '2017-04-06_00:00:00','2017-04-06_00:00:00','2017-04-06_00:00:00','2017-04-06_00:00:00',
 interval_seconds = 10800,
 io_form_geogrid = 2,
 debug_level = 0,
/

&geogrid
 parent_id         = 1,1,
 parent_grid_ratio = 1,3,
 i_parent_start    = 1,19,
 j_parent_start    = 1,73,
 e_we          = 100,88,
 e_sn          = 108,91,
 geog_data_res = '10m','5m',
 dx = 11600
 dy = 11600
 map_proj =  'lambert',
 ref_lat   = 43.96,
 ref_lon   = -94.675,
 truelat1  = 43.96,
 truelat2  = 43.96,
 stand_lon = -94.675,
 geog_data_path = '/home/lsterzinger/WPS_GEOG/geog/',
/

&ungrib
 out_format = 'WPS',
 prefix = 'FILE',
/

&metgrid
 fg_name = 'FILE',
 io_form_metgrid = 2,
/

&mod_levs
 press_pa = 201300 , 200100 , 100000 ,
             95000 ,  90000 ,
             85000 ,  80000 ,
             75000 ,  70000 ,
             65000 ,  60000 ,
             55000 ,  50000 ,
             45000 ,  40000 ,
             35000 ,  30000 ,
             25000 ,  20000 ,
             15000 ,  10000 ,
              5000 ,   1000
 /

As you can see, the correct DX and DY are present in namelist.wps. However, when I ncdump the met_em files, I see that DX and DY are 13000.f each.

What's causing the met_em files to be generated with a 13 km DX instead of 11.5 km?
