Hello everyone,
I've been trying for hours to install WRF, I followed step by step what is told in this page : http://www2.mmm.ucar.edu/wrf/OnLineTuto ... torial.php

but whenever I try to compile WPS, the executables it creates are all zero sized..

here's what I've done when I finished compiling WRF ( I used configuration 34 for this one, the one using gfortran as a compiler) :

z5124708@tyrion:~/Build_WRF/WPS % ./clean
z5124708@tyrion:~/Build_WRF/WPS % setenv JASPERLIB $DIR/grib2/lib
z5124708@tyrion:~/Build_WRF/WPS % setenv JASPERINC $DIR/grib2/include
z5124708@tyrion:~/Build_WRF/WPS % setenv NETCDF $DIR/netcdf
z5124708@tyrion:~/Build_WRF/WPS % ./configure
Will use NETCDF in dir: /home/z5124708/Build_WRF/LIBRARIES//netcdf
Found Jasper environment variables for GRIB2 support...
$JASPERLIB = /home/z5124708/Build_WRF/LIBRARIES//grib2/lib
$JASPERINC = /home/z5124708/Build_WRF/LIBRARIES//grib2/include

Hi Nermus,

I am having the exact same problem. I wanted to know if you were ever able to find a solution to this problem?

Thanks!
Jeff
